Job Description

FJA are recruiting on behalf of a leading service provider in the utilities industry for an experienced Flow Survey Crew Leader to lead a 3-person team.
 
Location: Irlam, travel through the UK required.

Flow Survey Crew Leader role:

  • The CCTV Flow Crew Leader is responsible for leading a team of field staff in conducting CCTV surveys of sewer networks to gather data on sewer flows during dry and wet weather events.
  • This data will be used by major utility companies to plan, design, and implement new drainage systems to alleviate flooding and pollution incidents.

 
Flow Survey Crew Leader responsibilities:

  • Managing a team of three staff members.
  • Responsible for installing and maintaining flow survey equipment, such as flow monitors, rain gauges, and depth monitors.
  • Collecting data on sewer flows during dry and wet weather conditions to assist major utility companies in planning, designing, and implementing new drainage systems aimed at mitigating flooding and pollution incidents.

Flow Survey Crew Leader requirements:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to accurately complete paperwork and annotate plans.
  • Proven experience in a drainage-related role, combined with the ability to effectively utilize GIS mapping to navigate drainage networks.
  • A deep understanding of public sewer networks.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and meticulous record-keeping abilities.
  • A proven history of reliability and adaptability.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Prior experience in flow surveying is advantageous.
