Location: Rochdale based but must be required to travel Northwest/Yorkshire areas
 
Mobile Plant Fitter role:

• To service, maintain, and repair a wide range of construction plant and machinery across various sites

Mobile Plant Fitter responsibilities:

• Visiting customer sites to diagnose and repair faults with machinery, hydraulics, electrics, engine faults, and transmissions
• Servicing a variety of different Plant and Machinery out in the field and ensuring kit is maintained and running efficiently for our customers
• Working with the Plant Hire business to delivery excellent customer service and at all times meet and exceed client and customer expectations
• To be pro-active and vigilant with regards to Health & Safety on site and individual and collective operations undertaken as part of daily duties
• To perform any ad-hoc duties as requested by site supervision.

 
The successful Mobile Plant Fitter / HGV Mechanic will have:

• Extensive knowledge of the maintenance and repair of Plant and Machinery, in particular Diesel Engines, Hydraulics, and Electrics
• Prioritises health & safety of self and of others
• Treats colleagues and site supervision with dignity and respect
• Communicates with, listens to and engages with colleagues in the correct manner
• Works harmoniously with others and strives to maintain a positive working environment
