About the Team:
You will be joining a specialist operations support team delivering services across the UK Water Industry, supporting Water Networks, Drainage, Surveying, Leakage, Water Resources and Efficiency.
Wastewater Operations teams work in 3‑person survey crews, gathering data from a wide range of wastewater assets including networks, reservoirs, treatment plants, highways drainage and more.
Key Responsibilities of the Wastewater Project Coordinator:
- Coordinate field staff, project activities, resources, and equipment
- Provide technical support to wastewater field teams
- Ensure all Health & Safety standards and processes are adhered to
- Prepare and issue RAMS for each project
- Plan weekly whereabouts and deployment of field‑based personnel
- Deliver and record toolbox talks and team briefings
- Conduct Site‑Based Workplace Inspections
- Ensure all operatives are safe, supported and well equipped
- Monitor project progress, identifying risks, delays, or opportunities
- Maintain accurate documentation and project records
- Support the Project Manager with operational tasks and QA checks
Skills, Knowledge & Experience Required:
- Experience in wastewater operations is essential (e.g. CCTV, Asset Surveys, Flow Monitoring)
- Strong IT skills, particularly with MS Office
- Confident communication skills — written and verbal
- Highly organised, efficient, and able to problem‑solve quickly
- Professional, approachable and able to liaise with colleagues at all levels
- Able to work independently, using initiative
- Flexible and reliable — willing to work weekends, evenings and travel as required
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
Qualifications:
- Full UK Driving Licence is essential
