Are you a passionate and driven planning professional ready to make an impact on one of the most innovative and exciting infrastructure projects in the UK?

One of Finlay Jude’s long standing clients are looking to strengthen their Planning team by bringing on board a Senior Planner to support our their Peterborough Framework.

What will you be doing?
As our clients new Senior Planner, you’ll take ownership of the project plan, driving the team to deliver on time, within scope, and without deviation. You’ll lead, coach, and guide junior Planners, establishing yourself as the approachable expert who empowers others to excel. You’ll ensure that the planning process runs smoothly, identify opportunities and risks, and create 4D animations of the project plan to rehearse digital construction. Your expertise will help keep track of key milestones, critical paths, and deliverables!

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain robust, detailed project plans, ensuring alignment with framework requirements.
• Ensure resources are efficiently loaded and scope is fully captured in the plans.
• Identify potential risks and opportunities and advise the team on possible changes.
• Design and implement clear communication plans that keep all stakeholders informed and engaged.
• Champion Health & Safety standards, ensuring a culture of safety in all planning processes.
• Mentor and develop junior Planners, fostering a high-performing team.

About You: To succeed in this role, you’ll need:

• Demonstrable experience in civil engineering projects, preferably in the water industry.
• Expertise with P6 software and a strong understanding of collaborative planning processes.
• The ability to communicate complex plans clearly to a wide range of audiences.
• Experience working under pressure with tight deadlines.
• A proactive, innovative approach to planning, with the ability to adapt as projects evolve.
