FJA are recruiting on behalf of a leading service provider in the utilities industry for an experienced Senior Site Manager.

Senior Site Manager role:

• We are looking to expand our Construction team with a Senior Site Manager for a new construction project in Evesham, Worcestershire. The project has a strong civil engineering focus, including ground stabilisation, piling, and substantial retaining walls. There will be opportunities to lead part of our self-delivery team and manage key subcontractors on-site.
• You will report directly to the Senior Construction Manager and be responsible for leading and directing the site team to ensure the safe and efficient management of all operational activities, meeting HSQE standards, project timelines, and budget requirements.

Senior Site Manager responsibilities:

• Make sure all tasks are conducted with respect for the local community surrounding the site and prioritise the safety of the traveling public.
• Implement, maintain, and promote cost-efficient management through the effective use of all resources.
• Adopt, uphold, and encourage cost-effective management by utilisaing all resources efficiently.
• Ensure that realistic project schedules are developed, reviewed, and regularly updated.
• Ensure method statements and risk assessments are created, reviewed, communicated, and kept up to date.
• Attend all training related to site management responsibilities, including appointed person, temporary works, and any other required sessions.

Senior Site Manager requirements:

• Accredited Civil Engineering or Site Management Qualifications.
• Health, Safety and Environmental Management (IOSH or Construction Managers Safety Certificate).
• CSCS Site Manager (Min).
• First Aid at Work.
• Experience in the Water/Wastewater Treatment Industry is preferred.
