Process Engineer – Water Non-Infrastructure role:

  • Seeking to expand the Engineering team with a Process Engineer based in the Anglian Water Region, with hybrid working options available.
  • Responsible for providing design support for a range of non-infrastructure schemes.
  • Ensure all designs are fit for purpose and comply with current legislation and standards.

Process Engineer – Water Non-Infrastructure responsibilities:

  • Undertake process design of water treatment plants and/or water systems to meet Anglian Water’s goals for customer satisfaction, environmental protection, and operational efficiency.
  • Technical schedules and data sheets.
  • Engineering calculations (hydraulic, pump, mass balance, RICS, capacity, etc.).
  • Specifications for engineering subcontracts.
  • Collaborate with the supply chain, carrying out technical bid analysis and reviewing third-party process equipment designs.
  • Communicate effectively at all levels to ensure technical excellence is achieved and maintained.
  • Proactively escalate potential issues affecting time, cost, or quality before they become problems.
  • Promote and apply health and safety best practices, producing safe designs in line with CDM Regulations, standards, and codes of practice.
  • Work closely with other engineering teams to ensure smooth discipline interfaces, manage overlaps or gaps, and share best practices.

Process Engineer – Water Non-Infrastructure requirements:

  • Degree in water process science, engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience in process engineering within water treatment.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Skilled in stakeholder management, fostering collaboration to resolve challenges.
  • Strong IT proficiency combined with technical expertise.
  • Ability to apply both technical and interpersonal skills to deliver high-quality process engineering solutions.
