FJA are partnering with a national training provider in the utility sector, who are looking to recruit a and experienced Water Distribution Trainer
The ideal candidate is someone who has water industry background with occupational experience in water operations.
This role is based in Peterborough with nationwide travel required.

Water Distribution Trainer role:
- We are seeking a motivated and experienced professional with a strong background in the water industry, specifically in water distribution operations.
- The ideal candidate will be a confident communicator with experience in training and assessing, delivering qualifications, and working with a diverse range of learners, including apprentices. You will be customer-focused, professional, and capable of building and maintaining strong working relationships.
- This role is based at our Peterborough offices, with regular travel required to customer sites.
Water Distribution Trainer responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality training programmes to a wide range of customers and learners.
- Design and develop training packages based on clear learning objectives and outcomes.
- Assess learners both in-centre and in the workplace.
- Observe learner performance and assess evidence against qualification standards.
- Monitor and evaluate learner progress to ensure achievement of outcomes.
- Contribute to the standardisation of qualifications as part of the assessment team.
- Work collaboratively with Internal Quality Assurers.
- Deliver best practice in training, assessment, and quality assurance.
- Strive to achieve and maintain 80% utilisation.
Water Distribution Trainer requirements:
- Relevant water industry qualifications
- GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English
- Full UK driving licence
- Good understanding and application of Health & Safety
