FJA are currently looking to recruit a Finance Manager role for their well established client based in Heywood, Greater Manchester. 

Our client will also consider Trainee Finance Manager candidates who are looking for a solid training plan and study support, with the plan of becoming a fully fledged Finance Manager in the near future 

The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the financial status of the organisation and providing strategic financial guidance. We’re looking for someone with a strong background in financial management and possess excellent leadership skills

Responsibilities of the Finance Manager:

• Managing the company’s sale, purchase, and nominal ledgers.
• Preparation of monthly accounts up to trial balance.
• Controlling cash flow with daily monitoring.
• Manage financial planning and budgeting processes
• Quarterly VAT submissions
• Processing payroll and pension payments (training will be provided on this)
• Oversee financial accounting and reporting activities
• Liaising with both the Commercial and Sales Directors
• Implement cost control measures to maximise profitability
• Provide leadership and guidance to the finance team
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards

Alternatively, they will consider a more junior level candidate who can be trained up to be a Finance Manager. They will offer study support if that is required. The training period will be approximately 12 months.
