Job Description
FJA are recruiting on behalf of a leading service provider in the utilities industry for an experienced Land Surveyor.
Location: Stafford with travel nationwide.

Land Surveyor role:
- You will carry out surveying services at various sites nationwide as required. As a leading name in the surveying industry, we are committed to excellence and ensure every team member recognises the importance of their role in delivering an outstanding customer experience.
Land Surveyor responsibilities:
- Deliver topographical surveys, measured building surveys, and additional surveying services.
- Full ownership and end-to-end activity delivery on various projects (fieldwork and office duties).
- Compile survey data and write reports.
- Collaborate with the Geospatial team on complex projects using the latest surveying equipment.
- Current experience with topographical surveying services and knowledge of surveying equipment/software.
- Access to cutting edge solutions, including Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) and Mobile Mapping Systems
Land Surveyor requirements:
- TSA, HNC, or Diploma in Surveying (or a related discipline) preferred; however, candidates with relevant skills and proven experience will also be considered.
- Previous experience delivering topographical surveying services is essential.
- Proficient in the use of surveying equipment including total stations, robotic total stations, data controllers, GNSS systems, and laser scanners (experience with these would be advantageous).
- Experience using surveying software such as SCC, Pix4D, Trimble Access, Business Centre, and Real Works, as well as Autodesk software including CAD and Revit (training can be provided).
- GCSEs in Maths and English at grades A-C (4-9).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Full UK driving licence required.
