Job Description
FJA are recruiting on behalf of a leading service provider in the utilities industry for an experienced Mechanical Site Supervisor.

Mechanical Site Supervisor role:
- We’re looking for a Mechanical Site Supervisor to manage all mechanical site activities, reporting to the M&E Manager. This role ensures efficient, safe, and high-quality installations are completed on time and within budget, with all required ITRs completed throughout the project.
Mechanical Site Supervisor responsibilities:
- Act as the designated Mechanical Appointed Person.
- Work with the Site Manager to foster a safe work environment for all employees, subcontractors, and visitors.
- Maintain consistent quality assurance and quality control throughout the installation process.
- Check that all relevant documents adequately describe the work to be carried out.
- Review and provide feedback on Method Statements and Work Instructions as needed per the Project Execution Plan.
- Ensure work is performed according to approved Method Statements and Work Instructions.
- Document all non-conformances and opportunities for improvement and agree on corrective actions with the responsible party.
- Ensure all relevant HS&E documents are accurately maintained, reviewed upon receipt, and are always the most up-to-date versions.
Mechanical Site Supervisor requirements:
- Extensive water sector experience, including pipework fabrication, pressure testing, welding, and erection. Proficient in weld quality assessment and pipeline punch/snagging using drawings.
- HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent pipework/welding apprenticeship with relevant experience.
- SSSTS
- CSCS
- First Aider
