Job Description
We are looking for Plant Operators for Oswestry on a contract basis.

Plant Operator role:
- Responsible for monitoring the processes at the new plant.
- Conduct daily monitoring of process operating parameters, including MLSS, SSVI, final effluent analyses, sludge thickener performance, sludge, and chemicals.
- Perform daily monitoring of equipment, including oxidation ditch (inducers, blowers, instruments), ferric and caustic systems, sludge thickeners, and other related equipment.
- Monitor analysers, recalibrate instruments as needed, and order reagents.
- Adjust process parameters to maintain optimal performance and report to the Advance Plus process commissioning engineer.
- Consult with clients, suppliers, and the Advance Plus process team, and hold regular meetings with UU to discuss progress, performance, and other updates.
- Order chemicals as needed, including ferric, caustic, poly, reagents, and cuvettes for sampling analyses.
- Assist the Advance Plus team with shutdowns, access requirements, and other related tasks.
Plant Operator requirements:
- You will be a skilled and experienced plant operator.
