FJA are recruiting on behalf of a leading service provider in the utilities industry for an experienced Principal Engineer – EICA to strengthen their engineering team and offering opportunities to build fruitful and purposeful careers.

Principal Engineer – EICA role:

  • The Principal Engineer – EICA will be responsible for delivering cost-effective EICA designs that meet project specifications whilst considering all associated costs, adhering to industry standards, maintaining project records, ensuring customer satisfaction and fostering a safe working environment.

Principal Engineer – EICA responsibilities:
 

  • Deliver cost-effective EICA designs that meet project specifications and are easily constructed and commissioned.
  • Ensure standard practices and maintain competitiveness, whilst monitoring and reviewing the procedures and processes.
  • Maintain files and records throughout the duration of contracts and develop a personal development plan
  • Assist in staff supervision and improvement alongside promoting a safe working environment
  • Incorporate environmental and health and safety considerations into EICA designs

 
Principal Engineer – EICA requirements:
 

  • Proficient in producing EICA design deliverables, such as single line diagrams, cable block diagrams, MCC Designs, and comprehensive control and instrumentation specifications 
  • Strong understanding of EICA systems used for water and sewage treatment
  • Proven ability to lead and manage teams of engineers in designing EICA systems for water and wastewater treatment plants
  • Member of a professional engineering institution, ideally with charted status
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field, ideally with post graduate study
  • Skilled in optimising designs to produce economic and efficient plant layouts
  • Solid understanding of the water treatment process, encompassing mechanical, process and electrical engineering knowledge and project management.
  • Adaptable and able to quickly process and integrate diverse information.
  • Driving license
