Job Description

FJA are recruiting on behalf of a leading service provider in the utilities industry for an experienced Project Manager to strengthen their team.
 
Location: Irlam, Manchester

Project Manager role:

  • Oversee health, safety, and wellbeing of 30+ staff
  • Ensure compliance, investigate accidents, monitor KPIs, drive improvement, manage resources and build relationships.

Project Manager responsibilities:

  • Lead continuous improvement and business growth.
  • Deliver projects related to sewer networks for our clients.
  • Uphold high professional standards in safety, ethics, integrity, and environmental procedures.
  • Foster and manage collaborative and remote working environments for teams.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to both external and internal clients.

Project Manager requirements:

  • A degree in a relevant subject is preferred, but significant previous experience will also be considered.
  • Possess a recognised Project Management qualification.
  • Possess an IOSH Managing Safely certification.
  • Dedicated to ongoing professional development and growth.
  • Experience and awareness of managing work in high-risk environments such as confined spaces and highways.
  • Proven experience leading diverse teams to successfully deliver complex project outputs and program outcomes.
  • Strives to exceed client expectations and is goal-driven
  • Extensive experience leading people and projects, ideally in the utility service industry, with a proven ability to deliver results in unpredictable operational environments.
  • Proven ability to manage performance, analyse data to implement change, and effectively contribute to contract and business development strategy.
  • Strong working knowledge of drainage and sewer networks and associated reporting.
  • Full UK driving license.
