FJA are recruiting on behalf of a leading service provider in the utilities industry for an experienced Proposals Lead Engineer to strengthen their team.

Proposals Lead Engineer responsibilities:

• Ensure timely receipt of constructability input from the delivery partners.
• Work closely with the regional construction lead to ensure the availability and proper allocation of resources for projects.
• Manage project activities concerning scope, schedule, finances, risks, quality, and resources, ensuring they remain within established thresholds and tolerances. Escalate any issues to Regional Project Managers as necessary.
• Ensure Health & Safety and Wellbeing procedures meet or surpass the required high standards.
• Engage with designated stakeholders in line with the communication plan, addressing design or construction elements such as permits, planning consents, and street works.

Proposals Lead Engineer requirements:

• Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, or an HND in Civil Engineering combined with vocational engineering training.
• Experienced Project Manager or Senior Agent.
• Experience in supervising multidisciplinary Design & Build projects, including civils and MEICA.
• Knowledge and understanding of construction contract law and contract forms gained through experience and formal training.
• Strong technical expertise in construction methods and industry best practices.
• Proficient in computer software, including MS Word, Excel, document control systems, and Primavera.
• Valid CSCS Card.
• Training in Health & Safety and Environmental Management.
