Job Description

FJA are recruiting on behalf of a leading service provider in the utilities industry for an experienced Quality Advisor to strengthen their SHEQ team.
 
This role is based in Derby.

Quality Advisor role:

  • You will report directly to the Regional Head of SHEQ and be responsible for providing on-site support across all construction projects.
  • Manage and carry out the internal quality audit program in collaboration with the Regional Quality Lead.
  • Provide support to the framework to ensure that all quality project documentation is completed and retained in line with company procedures, legal and Client requirements.
  • Support the management and continuous improvement of the Integrated Management System using a Lean approach, including processes, documentation, and business-wide practices.
  • Assist the SHEQ team in developing communications and training materials, and in delivering classroom sessions on quality-related topics.
  • Provide quality-related support across the business, collaborating with the SHEQ team as necessary, and foster a strong understanding of the Integrated Management System (IMS), its benefits, and relevant company requirements.
  • Maintain continuous professional development by engaging in external networking, conferences, and industry groups to stay informed about industry developments and innovations.
  • Carry out any other duties, training, or working hours reasonably required, consistent with the scope and responsibility of the role.

Quality Advisor requirements:
 
Essential:

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Driver’s license
  • Internal QMS Auditor (IRQA)
  • Previous Quality Advisor Experience
  • Construction delivery background

Desirable:

  • Background in the water/wastewater industry
  • EUSR SHEA Water card
  • PCQI membership
  • ISO Lead Auditor (9001)
