Job Description

Finlay Jude are supporting a long term client in recruiting for a Regional EICA Lead to drive excellence in the relocation of the Cambridge Waste Water Treatment Plant, a flagship initiative redefining water and wastewater infrastructure.

As a Regional EICA Lead, you will be at the forefront of engineering innovation, overseeing the design, development, and delivery of critical elements within this transformative project. Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, you will ensure technical excellence, cost efficiency, and compliance with industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic and technical leadership across your discipline, ensuring best-in-class engineering solutions.
  • Drive health & safety excellence, ensuring all designs and project phases adhere to regulatory and environmental standards.
  • Manage project design and execution, optimising resources, budgets, and timelines while ensuring quality and performance.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture, working closely with stakeholders, partners, and regulatory bodies.
  • Champion innovation and sustainability, integrating cutting-edge engineering solutions to reduce environmental impact.
  • Ensure effective risk management and compliance, aligning all workstreams with Anglian Water’s strategic objectives.

What a Successful Candidate Would Need:

  • Strong technical expertise in EICA design, ideally in a design-build environment.
  • Leadership experience in managing and developing engineering teams.
  • Background in the water treatment industry (preferred).
  • Degree-qualified in a relevant discipline (or equivalent experience).
  • Chartered Engineer status (desirable).
