Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor/Quantity Surveyor based in Peterborough.

Senior Quantity Surveyor/Quantity Surveyor role:
- Reconciliation of applications, valuations, and cost values.
- Manage cost control and forecasting; prepare and provide data for monthly reports, including value, cost, profit/loss, and cash flow.
- Oversee supply chain operations, ensuring efficient coordination of procurement, production, and distribution processes.
- Support Risk and Value Management to optimise solutions; mentor and conduct regular reviews with the project team.
- Contract Management, encompassing all relevant contractual forms, budgetary control methods, and pertinent software applications.
- Prepare subcontract enquiries negotiate and set up contracts.
- “Maintain up-to-date notifications and documentation, promptly escalating all safety risks to site management for immediate attention.
- Maintain continuous communication with the site team, subcontractors, and client representatives to ensure seamless coordination and project alignment.
- Provide timely contractual guidance to the site team as needed, ensuring compliance and addressing any emerging issues promptly.
Senior Quantity Surveyor/Quantity Surveyor requirements:
Essential
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
- ARICS or studying for APC
- Experience working with a main contractor
Desirable
- Experience working within Water
- Knowledge of NEC contracts
