We are looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor/Quantity Surveyor based in Peterborough.

Senior Quantity Surveyor/Quantity Surveyor role:

• Reconciliation of applications, valuations, and cost values.
• Manage cost control and forecasting; prepare and provide data for monthly reports, including value, cost, profit/loss, and cash flow.
• Oversee supply chain operations, ensuring efficient coordination of procurement, production, and distribution processes.
• Support Risk and Value Management to optimise solutions; mentor and conduct regular reviews with the project team.
• Contract Management, encompassing all relevant contractual forms, budgetary control methods, and pertinent software applications.
• Prepare subcontract enquiries negotiate and set up contracts.
• “​Maintain up-to-date notifications and documentation, promptly escalating all safety risks to site management for immediate attention.
• Maintain continuous communication with the site team, subcontractors, and client representatives to ensure seamless coordination and project alignment.
• Provide timely contractual guidance to the site team as needed, ensuring compliance and addressing any emerging issues promptly.

Senior Quantity Surveyor/Quantity Surveyor requirements:
 
Essential

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
• ARICS or studying for APC
• Experience working with a main contractor

Desirable

• Experience working within Water
• Knowledge of NEC contracts
