FJA are recruiting on behalf of a leading service provider in the utilities industry for an experienced Site Supervisor – Electrical.
 
Location: Stepps, North Lanarkshire, Scotland.

Site Supervisor – Electrical role:

• The Electrical Site Supervisor will oversee all electrical work on site, ensuring efficient and safe execution to specifications, on time, and with high quality, reporting directly to the M & E Manager/Lead Site Supervisor.
 
Site Supervisor – Electrical responsibilities: 

• Oversee on-site electrical installations, ensuring adherence to safety, health, and environmental (SHE) standards and safe work procedures.
• Guarantee the production of high-quality products that meet current standards and specifications.
• Participate in site inductions, toolbox talks, and support commissioning activities as required.
• Actively participate in collaborative planning meetings and contribute to the development of site delivery programs.
• As the Electrical Appointed Person, ensure compliance with CMDP electrical safety rules and maintain associated documentation.
• Carry out electrical isolations and regular electrical safety inspections on temporary and permanent equipment.
• Assist with compilation of project takeover documentation
• Oversee electrical testing is being undertaken in line with BS7671, review test results against guidance note 3 and manufacturers literature.
 
Site Supervisor – Electrical requirements: 
Qualification Requirements
• SSSTS or SMSTS – Required.
• Appointed Person Status – Required.
• FAAW – Required.
• ECS card – Required.
• C&G 2330 or 2360 in electrical installations – Required.
• NVQ Level 3 in electrical installations – Required.
• IEE 18th edition wiring regs – Required.
• 2391 Test and Inspect – Preferred.
