FJA are recruiting on behalf of a leading service provider in the utilities industry for an experienced Site Supervisor – Mechanical to strengthen their construction team.

This is a contract-based role. 
 
Location: Rickmansworth 
 
Site Supervisor – Mechanical role:

• Responsible for overseeing and coordinating all mechanical aspects of construction projects.
• This role will involve managing teams, ensuring safety compliance, and delivering high quality mechanical installations within the specified timeframe and budget.

Site Supervisor – Mechanical responsibilities:

• Support the Site Manager in maintaining a safe working environment for all personnel
• Ensure all HS&E documents are accurate and up-to-date
• Maintain QA / QC throughout the installation process
• Supervise work to ensure adherence to method statements and work instructions
• Record the progress of works on record drawings or other suitable means
• Record non-conformances and improvement opportunities, and agree on corrective actions with the responsible party

Site Supervisor – Mechanical requirements:

• Several years’ experience in the water sector, specialising in pipework fabrication, pressure testing, welding and erection
• Proficient in pipeline fabrication and assembly, including punching and snagging according to Isometric, GA, and P&ID drawings
• Qualified with an HNC/HND in mechanical engineering or equivalent welding apprenticeship, along with practical experience
• SSSTS
• CSCS
• First Aider
