FJA are recruiting on behalf of a leading service provider in the utilities industry for a Skilled Leakage Technician.
 
Location: Bodmin and Cornwall.

Skilled Leakage Technician role:

• Technicians will investigate water networks to identify leakage and reduce unaccounted-for-water. 
• This role offers excellent development opportunities.
 
Skilled Leakage Technician responsibilities:
 
• Conduct a thorough investigation of the water network to identify and quantify leakage and unaccounted-for-water consumption.
• Pinpoint leak locations and promote repairs on public and private land using specialised equipment.
• Provide support to maintenance teams as needed.
• Conduct step testing and pressure zero testing of the water network.
• Detailed reporting via data collection apps.
• May involve manual handling of heavy inspection covers and working in all weather conditions, including potential night shifts.
 
Skilled Leakage Technician requirements:
 
• Prior water network experience (required).
• Prior water network experience (required).
• Ability to work across Scotland. (required)
• Full UK Driving Licence (required).
• Demonstrate relevant experience in a similar role.
• Competent in performing utility tracing, noise logging, and asset surveys.
• EUSR water hygiene card (desired).
• EUSR DOMS card (desired).
• NRSWA Unit 2 accreditation (desired).
