FJA are recruiting a Stainless Steel Fabricator for a leading service provider in the food and confectionery industry.

Location: Rochdale, Lancashire.

Stainless Steel Fabricator role:

• Create high-quality stainless steel components and structures for the food and confectionery industry, adhering to strict quality and safety standards.

Stainless Steel Fabricator responsibilities:

• As a Stainless Steel Fabricator you will carry out stainless steel sheet metal, fabrication and welding activities.
• Ensure that all documentation and instructions provided are completed and followed in accordance with company procedures.
• Work from engineering drawings to meet the required quality and specifications. 
• Adhering to health and safety systems is crucial, including the consistent use of issued PPE.
• You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean, tidy, and safe working area at all times, along with any other duties as requested by management.
• The role may require travel within the UK and overseas, and may involve site work.

Stainless Steel Fabricator requirements:

• All candidates need a level 3 or city and guilds qualification in mechanical manufacturing engineering or equivalent.
• Proficiency in TIG welding is required, particularly with materials ranging from 1.5mm to 10mm in stainless steel.
• Minimum of 5 years fabricating experience.
• TIG welding experience required.
• Experience in fabricating process equipment (Vessels, Platforms, Pipework’s) is desirable.
